Eastern Front Photos from WWI
Jens-Olaf has some amazing scans of photos from the Eastern Front durng World War I. They are largely from a German Army officer, many are unpublished. Some amazing images there, including this one of German warships in Riga, near the Baltic Sea:

I´ve some contacts to the Baltics. So once I ´ve been to a meeting where someone said: I´ve got fotos of a German, her father had images of the Eastern Front. She got all his records, kept it for decades. I knew there is a gap of images from the Eastern Front, all is told about Belgium and France. So I began to scan all his fotos, the fotos of the officer, sending it to museums in Latvia or Estonia, where they could use them. Some were happy cause they are missing fotos of this time. Their local history etc.. and today this.
